Social Media and Content Marketing Associate
Role Overview:
We are looking for an ambitious and creative Social Media and Content Marketing Associate to join our growing Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or early-career marketer looking to build hands-on experience in ecommerce, performance marketing and content creation within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands the power of content to influence buying decisions, and is eager to learn how social channels can drive commercial growth.
You will support the execution of both paid and organic social activity across our portfolio of brands, helping to create engaging content, grow online communities, support campaign performance, and contribute to revenue growth across key channels.
This is not a passive coordination role. It is a hands-on opportunity to learn, test, create and make an impact from day one. You will work closely with experienced marketers while developing your skills across social media, content production, paid advertising and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
· Support the planning, scheduling and publishing of organic social content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit and YouTube.
· Help manage day-to-day social media activity, ensuring content is engaging, on-brand and aligned with wider marketing objectives.
· Monitor community engagement across social channels, responding where appropriate and helping build stronger audience relationships.
· Support the growth of social media followers through creative content ideas and consistent execution.
Content Creation and Creative Support:
· Assist in creating graphic, video and written content for organic and paid social campaigns.
· Support the development of social-first content designed to drive engagement, traffic and sales.
· Work with internal teams to request creative assets and help maintain a steady flow of testable content.
· Support the sourcing and briefing of UGC creators and influencers for content collaborations.
· Stay close to social trends, emerging formats and viral content opportunities that could benefit our brands.
Paid Social and Performance Support:
· Support the execution and optimisation of paid campaigns across Meta Ads and TikTok Ads.
· Assist with campaign setup, budget tracking and performance monitoring.
· Help analyse campaign performance using existing reports and data, identifying opportunities for improvement.
· Support content testing by helping evaluate what creative and messaging performs best across platforms.
· Learn how paid and organic social work together to support ecommerce growth.
Commercial and Team Contribution:
· Develop an understanding of how social media contributes to revenue, customer acquisition and brand growth.
· Support wider influencer and content marketing campaigns designed to increase engagement and sales.
· Work collaboratively with the wider Marketing Team on campaign execution and cross-functional initiatives.
· Take ownership of tasks, manage priorities effectively and contribute ideas that improve performance.
Ideal Candidate:
· Graduate or early-career marketer with 1 to 2 years of experience, internships or relevant hands-on exposure in social media or digital marketing.
· Passionate about social media, content creation and ecommerce.
· Strong interest in platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit.
· Some exposure to paid social platforms such as Meta Ads or TikTok Ads is advantageous, but not essential.
· Creative thinker with a good eye for engaging content and brand storytelling.
· Basic experience using design or content tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or video editing apps would be beneficial.
· Commercially curious and eager to learn how marketing activity drives business growth.
· Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
· Comfortable working with data, reporting and using insights to improve performance.
· Positive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
· Driven by opportunity, takes ownership and wants to build a career in a high-growth ecommerce business.
· Ambitious to develop over time into a more senior role as responsibilities grow.
